“I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”

Prayer:
Dearest Jesus, what a wondrous sign Your Eucharist is.  Broken bread and a cup of wine speak so eloquently of Your death.  Life-giving bread and drink speak so gloriously of Your Resurrection and the new life You have given us.  May Your voice be stronger and clearer than any other voice in our lives.  Amen.

Take the time to be with loved ones and share a meal, be Eucharist for one another!

John 6:30-35
The crowd said to Jesus:
“What sign can you do, that we may see and believe in you?
What can you do?
Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written:
"He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”
So Jesus said to them,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven;
my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven
and gives life to the world.”
So they said to Jesus,
“Sir, give us this bread always.”
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life;
whoever comes to me will never hunger,
and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”

Refection question:
How do I hunger for the bread of life during this pandemic that the whole world is suffering from?

Bedtime stories tonight at 7:30 p.m. with F.F. Zelton, sponsored by the Quincy Fire Department.

Some time ago, Pope Francis asked that all religious men and women in religious vows to "Wake UP the World" by the vocation they live!

Today, more than ever, we all need to see our vocations as a way to wake up the world to a new and caring way of life! How am I waking up the world by my own vocation in life? What do you? How do you care for others? We all need to wake up the world!
